Lauren Duski finished 2nd in the closest vote in the history of NBC's hit show The Voice, but a viewer poll shows nearly 80% of respondents believe Duski should have won.
Many believe Duski will prove to be a big success regardless of the final results.
According to AOL:
"Gold Derby, a popular website where betting experts weigh in on major Hollywood competitions like the Oscars and Golden Globes, conducted a poll following the May 23 "Voice" finale. The respondents were not experts, but everyday viewers, and the results are pretty wild: A whopping 77% of respondents believe competitors Lauren Duski was robbed.
"It's a shame when the clear winner does not win," said one commenter. Added another, "Chris Blue may have won but I predict Lauren will outsell and be a bigger star."
