A drunk teen driver messing around in the Golden Fowler parking lot is in the hospital and about to be facing criminal charges after she flipped his car and hit a light pole.
The pole collapsed on another vehicle a few hours later.
The driver and two passengers were sent to Munson for treatment.
According to WPBN:
"Around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday officers said an 18-year-old driver was practicing "drifting" in the parking lot of Golden Fowler in Traverse City. The driver then hit a light pole and flipped the car, according to officers. Three people in the car were taken to Munson Medical Center for treatment.
Just before 9 a.m. Thursday the same light pole fell and hit a car in the parking lot.
Officers said the driver of the car had a blood alcohol content of .206.
The woman was not arrested because of hospitalization but TCPD is seeking a warrant for the driver."
