What started as a domestic violence call in Hale has ended with a murder investigation after a woman led State Police to a body in Plainfield Township.
The woman who first called thought it was unfair she was being arrested for outstanding warrants when she knew someone getting away with murder.
Police investigated, and a body was discovered. A 20 year old Pontiac man is now under arrest in connection with the investigation.
According to WPBN:
"Michigan State Police are investigating a murder after receiving a tip from a person in custody.
According to First Special Lieutenant David Kaiser, troopers responding to a domestic violence call Wednesday in Hale spoke to a woman at the scene who turned out to have several outstanding arrest warrants.
While being taken into custody, the woman told troopers she thought it was ‘unfair’ that she was arrested “while someone else gets away with murder.” She then told troopers of a murder scene on Snyder Trail in Plainfield Township.
Later that night, one of the troopers went to the location mentioned and found a crime scene with what appeared to be a shallow grave. The MSP crime lab and a cadaver dog were dispatched to the site."
