A wild police chase during Memorial Day weekend has left a Harbor Springs man behind bars.
The Michigan State Police led the chase, with assistance from multiple local departments.
According to the Petoskey News Review:
"Michigan State Police troopers arrested a Harbor Springs man Sunday after a chase through Emmet, Charlevoix and Otsego counties...
Three troopers chased him onto McGregor Road, where they forced him to spin out using a police maneuver and arrested him.
No one was injured. The chase caused minor damage to the pickup truck and a patrol car.
The man was arrested for fleeing and eluding, a second offense of driving while license suspended, a second offense of marijuana possession and two local bench warrants. He will be arraigned in the 87th District Court in Gaylord."
